We opened our first Sydney location, in the classic Aussie beach suburb, Manly in 2013. We wanted to share the concept of ‘having a fika break’ with the Australian people. Our second location in Bondi, opened in 2019 and our Manly bakery opened in 2022.
As Sydney’s first Swedish eatery we don’t just bake our own desserts and bread, we hand roll every single meatball and make all our dips, sauces and Skagen from scratch. We infuse our own snaps and host as many of the Swedish traditions as we can.
Over the years we’ve catered events with our Swedish Princess Cakes, held introductory Swedish classes and been sponsored with two cars by Volvo Cars Australia to mention a few.
But most importantly, we’ve become a place for many to call their home away from home. Välkommen in.

We are a family owned and operated 49m² micro bakery and specialty espresso bar located in Scarborough, Western Australia. We opened in July of 2019 with a passion for good quality sourdough bread, pastries, baked goodies and coffee.
Our bread and pastries are all natural and slowly fermented over a two to three day process using the best quality Australian grown, organic flour from Wholegrain Milling and salt from Lake Deborah.

Let’s make one thing clear; we’re not trying to be trendy or hip, in fact, we’re rather the opposite. Our aim is to recreate the feeling of the traditional Swedish coffee shops, the “Konditori”. We hope that maybe we can revoke memories from a time gone by, a time when things were moving at a slower pace and people had time for each other . A visit to our Café should be a little bit like coming home to your grandma.
Of course we do sell take-away coffee, but running around with a cup of coffee is definitely not something we encourage. In our opinion, coffee should be had while sitting down in a relaxing atmosphere, preferably accompanied by a good chat and something delicious to eat.
Our aim is to be the destination, rather than a stop on the way.
